About
My name is Kathryn Goodyear, Attorney/Owner of Goodyear Law, LLC. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and received my Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. Prior to law school, I investigated Child Abuse and Neglect cases for the State of South Carolina and worked as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem. I’ve worked with Family Law and Estate Planning Firms since 2014, until starting my own firm in January 2020.
I have always had a heart for children and family law. Then during law school, I fell in love with Estate Planning. I love helping people with legacy planning for their families so they can have peace knowing that their family will be taken care of should something happen to them.
I serve South Carolina Veterans through military discounts, Pro Bono work, and through service projects with the D.A.R. I currently live in the Lowcountry with my husband and our two sweet pups. We love fishing, camping, and the great outdoors
